Express Entry is an online system that allows applicants to submit their profile under three different categories:
Federal skilled worker program
Federal skilled trades class program
Canadian experience class program
Candidates are entered into the pool and ranked based on the Comprehensive ranking system (CRS).IRCC selects applicants periodically to apply for permanent residence by sending ITA (invitation to apply.)
There are eligibility factors and certain documents required to apply under one of the eligible programs for permanent residence in Canada. The candidates may also be selected by the province to apply for permanent residence with the help of certain PNP programs and Express Entry.
