To fill Labor shortage, Government of Canada has a program which allows employers to hire temporary foreign workers(TFW). This application is submitted to Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) who review the eligibility and documents of the employer and if all requirements are met, Then the employer is issued a positive Labor  market impact assessment(LMIA). If one of the following conditions apply to you , you may be eligible to apply for an open work permit: You are the spouse or common-law partner of a skilled worker or international student are a dependent family member of someone who applied for permanent residence Under this application category, the applicant have to provide proof of relationship , Financial status and other supporting documents. Super visa is a program that allows parents and grand-parents of Canadian citizens or Permanent residents to apply for a temporary residence visa.
